i would like to know if anyone has come up with a lite that you can put on the mxt so you can nite hunt???
any help would be great:confused:

No, but there's products out there with a light that fits on your cap or around your head. Why would you want to night hunt? Just doesn't seem like it would be much fun. Plus it would be very hard to find the target.

We've had night hunters here in town and they made one heck of a mess at the local court house lawn. I'm not saying you will, but that's what I thought of when I heard "night hunting". HH and wish you luck, Nancy

We have night hunts in the heat of summer and use head lamps like these.

you could get one of those inspection lights they use for inspections there lite and bendable, you velcro it or use plastic wire ties for it...

I think you would want a few mates with you these days .I did it once back in the early eighties in Melbourne in a good suburb called Balwyn. I was detecting on my own in a little well used park and about 10pm on a really dark night using a square torch attached to a army shoulder strap to the opposite side waist belt. When I noticed in the foreground of a street lamp a chap was watching me and decided to call it a night and say Hello to this fellow. After a while I started to feel uneasy with this fellow and decided to go home . I had him following me until I ducked in to a garden ,I stayed there for at least a half hour and decided I would never do that again even with mates, and yes you do leave a mess

When I hunt at night it's usually in the desert, and I am armed I carrier on my belt a colt 45. I have had a few close calls even in the day lite, around Arizona there is so much illegal activity going on with the boarder jumpers that you would be crazy to be out there alone an on armed. Plus you got snakes and such!

No sir, it's the gold and the heat you have to sneak up on.
