MXT Problem??

Have anyone had this problem with their MXT?
The MXT would seem to just freeze up. I could still hear the threshold hum, but no VDI information or other sounds. I actually put a dime on the ground and the MXT would not detect it. I was using the mini-shooter coil and using the preset settings (coin mode) with a slight hum threshold.
The batteries are good. I also checked all connections.
This has happened to me at least three times in the last month.
If I turn it off and then back on, it will work.
Any suggestion or comments would be appreciated.

With the machine on, pull the batteries out. Turn off
and put batterys back in. Works for DFX. Richard

Richard, I had the same thing happen Sunday for the first time with the shooter coil. I messed around, turned it off and on and got it going. Used the stock coil tonight and everything is ok. Go figure. . . .
