WWWAAAAHHOOOO!!!!!! Found my 1st. silver coin-finally. Ain't she a beauty. Looks like the mower got her.
This is just the beginning....................................................

WTG, congrat's on your first Merc..... Now go back and find the other piece. Now that would be cool.

A few years ago I found 2 pieces of a wheat that was cut by a mower and their was a third piece to it so I went back the next day and with in a 1/2 hour I found the third piece.

Well that's just not right....your first silver dime and 2/10 are gone!?!?,you gotta laugh.Maybe they owed 2 cents and only had a dime. HH GL

:clapping: Congratulations Al!

And even though it looks like someone took a bite out of it, I think that it's cool that your first has distinguishable character.

Looks like represents the taxes taken out of people's pay by the government back then. If that were a modern dime we might only be seeing half of it.

Congradulations on your first silver coin... it will only get better for you!!
You never know where a silver coin will come from next... good luck and happy hunting!!!

Thanks for the responding everyone.......went back out Saturday but got skunked. I found 4 old, dilapidated homesteads but only received permission to hunt one which was cover by small trees & weeds. I did end up finding a tick on my arm but that's it.....lots of iron & nails. No one home at the other properties so I'll get back to those.
