My 2500 finds rings too.

I get real mad when I find junk rings. REAL MAD! I do not subscribe to the saying that a ring is a ring is a ring. I have found 1 gold ring, 3 silver rings, and 12 junk rings so far in 2008. Number 12 came about 2 hours ago. Mood ring. See it sitting there next to the aluminum blob? As Rosco's go it's pretty nice. All the stuff pictured came from a playground within a foot of metal play equipment. All with the scorcher coil. Man, that was a good buy!

I missed 3000 coins for the year by 20 lousy coins. There's always next weekend.

I'm the one that says a ring is a ring. Around here public places have been hit hard so anything that comes out of the ground that isn't junk is a good day. I hope you appreciate what you have in where you hunt.

I appreciate it, believe me. God blesses me every day and doubly on the days I detect. I don't really get too mad at the junk rings. I do get mad at the people who buy and lose junk rings! If they had a little better paying job they could have afforded and lost gold or at least silver. Sheesh! I'm joking, of course. This Winter I'm gonna clean up all my Rosco's and post a few photos.

The two mushroom shaped things are spent .22 short bullets. Probably fired into the bark chips. I thought they were buttons off a small pair of jeans at first.

How do you like the 2500. I have the ACE 250 but want to upgrade for use on salt water beaches here in NC. What type of results do you have on salt water areas?
