I got out for about 1.5 hours today at a 1000 year old farm site where I can still see the outlines of the barns that were there. Found a large apothecary bowl as I entered the field where the farmers drive in right in the middle of the tractor wheel ruts, I wasn
 
I understand they were used to measure drugs and pharmaceuticals, they also have lines in them indicating a measuement line. Tried a search on them and didn't find anything. HH, Mike
