my ace 250 gets an oldie or 2

Found another old house today lots of iron but got the indian the merc and the buffalo out of one hole ,,then came the large cent 1848 ,,this is the first large cent I have ever found and she looks like she'll be in pretty good shape after a year or so in an olive oil bath.. go garrett ace 250
 
I have an ace 250 but no sounds is heard wheb passing over a coin can someone give me any tips please

Not to be a smart a$$ but what do you mean so sounds when you pass over a coin? If your machine is ON and you get no sounds then you need to send it in to get checked out. What good is a detector if it can't detect...

I like the look of the large cent like it is. I can clearly read the date in it's current condition. Great hunt!

Make sure you don't have the target's rejected on the target bar. There should be a black box under what is trying to be detected. If no box is there it is a rejected target!
