this is my best find with Minelab EX II - found in fall of 2004.
Let's get a best find with your Minelab Post going in here!

:super:

One Spanish 2 reales found in different location than half reales.
Four Spanish half reales found in three different hunts.
A great year for me! :)

1652 Mass Oak Tree Shilling ghost tree Variety
found in a field where many colonial coppers came from as well as other great finds :)
This pc has the most meaning of any of the finds I have made in many yrs detecting, really great to find and hold a pc from the countrys beginning.

we have some people who want to see what kind of things we are finding with our EX's. If you have a piece of jewelry or nice coin that makes you proud or happy - post it.

I have some others that I'll get pics of and put them up over the LONG, COLD, winter months.

The first one is an 1875 Seated Quarter that came out of my favorite Seated Park. It's frosty white and I can't see it grading any lower then AU, closer to BU.

The second is a semi-key 1895-S Barber Dime, grading F to VF, also found at Seated. I also found an 1895 P mint in just about the same condition. I'll get this one, and more, up over the coming months.

Enjoy the pics and thanks for the idea.

Happy Holidays to All!

Jeff

 It's not an offensive picture as you might think, it's actually to show surprise, and I actually am, all those finds in 3 outings! Just remember guys, I never intend to offend anyone, it's just sarcastic humour like they call it (I think it's sarcastic)!

if you're talking me, I don't want GraveDiggerMax to be confused.
You said "all those finds in 3 outings" and I'm the only one who mentions 3 hunts in my post. Was that smart-a$$ remark for me?
:starwars:

Crap I got my thoughts mixed up, yeah I meant Gravedigger, finding all those rings in one hole is really something RARE! Hope no one got offended from what I posted, it was supposed to be a funny picture not offensive.

This is one of my better finds for 2005. This is by far the best SLQ I have ever dug. It must have been dropped in 1917 or shortly thereafter... :) I've found a ton of alot older coins this year that the SLQ but this one sticks out in my mind because you never find SLQ in even decent shape.. It still has a bit of luster to it. The SLQ was not cleaned or anything when the picture was taken. That's how it looked coming out of the hole... :)
