He is a Victoria W.A. Nuggetshooter Circa 1978 and I think he had the edge, by a bunch, on Heavy Duty "Bungee Jumpin" plus after swinging those heavy Garrett Deepseeker coils all of these years he's Gotta Be a Bad Man..... <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> HH...Geo

My favorite product with a probe for a detector. They did have them a lot of years ago and I also make my own but the cord and locking system on the Swingy Thingy is unique. I got to give this a best buy of the year as far as I am concerned. The ST will save the swinging arm and prevent a lot of future problems. They should be standard required issue with a detector of any weight. I have said before that Minelab and others should include them with all detectors. You don't think in your twenties when you swing a detector that it is going to make a difference but in your sixties it DOES! All those years of swinging a detector comes home to roost.

I bought a Swingy Thingy about a year ago. Today while out on a group hunt I think I may have sold two more for you Doc. They are great for using the heavy Explorer detector there is no doubt about it. I also use the WOT as much as seventy percent of my detecting time. That is when the Swingy Thingy really shows its value. One person was a lady at five foot nothing using a Explorer with complaints of it being so heavy. And the other was a six foot four man with a bad back. He told me he had an back operation and was afraid that the Swingy Thingy would hurt his back more than his arm getting tired. I laughed because I told him his back couldn't be any worse than mine. I have had four spinal surgeries and my lower back and neck are both fused and have cages installed as well. And rather than try to hold and wave the detector it just floats as I put very little down pressure on it. It makes metal detecting more fun while removing some of the labor. It is wearing well from a Hugh amount of use but it is a little dirty now.
