Yep It was a great day for diggin and Dale and I went back to the old cornfield. Last week I found 2 rail car lead door seals...Today I found 19 of them babies, many with the railroads stamped on them...Richmond, Fredericksburg,& Potomac RR, Richmond& Danville RR, Petersburg RR Ect. Don't know what these are worth but I like diggin them. They are another part of Civil War history. Also found several different style droped bullets including one very chewed up one. I guess they didn't have juicyfruit back then. Also dug an 1864 IH. This cornfield has been a blast to hunt. I cant wait to get back there.
