The CT copper is 1786 and large cent is an 1802 with 1802 stamped under the one cent on reverse. The pieces of 8 are two of my favorite treasures. Maybe I'll find a piece of 8 or old state copper this year. I can only keep searching. Hope you like the pics and have a good one.
 
Before "Cash in the Attic" or "Antiques Roadshow" was on my Nan(grandma) used to buy contents of attics and cellars and hit every tag sale there was. She dealt in antiques, mostly furniture and Depression glass. It was fun going to all the tag sales and flea markets with her and she could out haggle the best of them(I wish I learned this trait) :) Anyway she has passed away, God bless her, and my father received the coins and depression glass. He thought I would enjoy the coins more than he and told me to find a book on the glass so we can see what it is worth.
