2018 Silver Finds So Far
Been a good start for me in 2018 on the silver front that has been aided by the amazing ability of the New Vista Gold Gains high kHz and blistering fast recovery speed.
Not only has the silver run been going well so far this year but finds in general with this detector are coming along nicely plus the first finds, it's always great to see something new come up that you've been searching for sometime now, my first seal came up and a lovely horse pendant also my second gold coin and all in a short time span with the help of the Vista Metal Detectors that I've always trusted in the field.
I can see my finds rate going up now that I have the Super Six Coil for the VGG that allows me to work the iron infested areas more thoroughly than with the standard 11" Pitbull Coil.
Working the iron is always a challenge with any detector but on fields that have been worked by others it's good to pick a few targets amongst the iron that others either can't find due to slower recovery speeds on their detectors or they don't want to waste time searching such areas... crazy really when some of my best finds in the past have come from such areas.
