My Deus Just Arrived!

And the first impression is, DAMN it's tiny!!! I haven't held one before and I could not believe how little there is to this detector. It's impossible to describe but it is WAY tinier than I thought it would be. It feels like you could stick this thing in your pocket and bring it anywhere. I will get some pics up later comparing it to some other detectors just so you get an idea of scale but I had NO idea of exactly how tiny this thing is. Build quality feels excellent and I can't wait to use it. I have it on the charger right now and will test it a bit this evening. The weather is not good here in Minneapolis and so I hope I will be able to use it in the coming days. Can't wait!!.

Marc-----Will be looking forward to your size pictures comparing it (to scale) with some other detectors.-----How about the screen #'s---are they easy enough to see while detecting?

The screen is very easy to see. Although this machine is tiny, it is extremely functional. I would say that is the beauty of this detector so far, everything is extremely functional. The settings are simple. This machine is turn-on-and-go at its best. You can tweak a couple of things to your liking but everything is very simple. I will get pictures up today of size comparison.
