my digger coil

I just recently purchased a 705 and bought a "digger coil" for it. I decided to take it to to a spot that has been hunted to death and give it a try...figured I`d put it to the test right out of the box and although I hadn`t hunted with it I had read the manual and Randy`s book so I had an idea of how to use it. the field gave up two wheaties which I was very pleased with. The first was in between some iron and would only hit one way and I had to wiggle the coil between the iron to get the good signal. When I pulled out my plug one piece of iron was in it as well as the wheatie. I think there is still some silver out there and feel confident the 705/digger will find it. All in all I am very happy with my new set up. Two of us had just put in about six hours in this field and had only found one 47 nickel. An hour and half with my 705 set up got me two wheaties...I really love the way it seperates the targets and yes Randy I set it up just as you described in your book with the exception of the offset which I figured I would add as I learn the machine. Thanks for the great info.

 That "Digger" coil is a cracker!
Good thing you got yours early, because I think that once it gets out what it can do, Coiltek won't be able to make 'em fast enough.

My digger is on the UPS truck at the moment.
Can't wait to give it a whirl!

cool, I think you will like it:thumbup:

Does the Digger coil come with a cover, or do you have to purchase it separately?

It comes with a cover that's taped to it to keep it on and seal out dirt.
