my finds pouch setup...

Well-known member
i am bored and id like to see what people use as a finds pouch.. this is mine. its a sunray leather pouch. i removed 1 of the pvc probe holders ,the smaller one, and installed my garret pro pointer. i just cut a small slit in the leather for it to attatch. works great. keeps everything all together nicely.i have extra batteries in lower outside pouch and coins will go in upper..also any super nice finds always go into a separate container. oh and i use the knee pads from lowes... thanks for looking

Nice setup basstrackerman I like it myself.
Right now all I been using is a cloth nail apron from lowes I put my finds and trash in, my screwdriver probe in my front left pocket, my pinpointer in my left rear pocket, my digger in the right rear pocket most of the time I'm in the park so seldom use the digger I pop it out with the probe.
I may try to fix up something a little better this year but so far this has been my setup.

I use a Mill Spec M.O.L.L.E Vest, Keeps all the weight off of my hips. I'm the one in the middle............MO

Basstrackerman i also use the sun ray leather pouch, to me its the best that i have seen for putting all your trash in the big open pocket with your coins and finds in the smaller top pocket and i carry an extra 9 volt battery in the bottom pouch for my Omega or pro pointer.I have not set my propointer up as you have but i can see where that would make it easier to get to.I still use the smaller pvc holder for my coin probe. Its a very well made leather pouch and will last for years.Im completely satisfied with mine as im sure you are.I ordered mine from big valley metal detectors in california, hes a fine man to do business with...Markmac

Clever pictures, nice setup - my compliments!
But - where on earth did you get the probe (the one with the wood handle)? It looks like there is a spoon-like widening at the end.
I am looking at a Carbon Shaft Coin Probe, it will not scratch the coins or relics. Then again, is a metal shaft a problem?

My thermometer shows 68

i bought the pouch and the probe from ralph at sunray..just go to the forum on this site. great price and super fast shipping. i wish it was warm here! id be out dirt fishing!! have a great day

Thanos you can also buy the coin popper as its called and the coin probe for the other opening from jimmy sierra products on line. They work great and are very sturdy....Markmac
