My first BIG Silver of the year....finally!

territory is that you need a chisel to get any type of plug dug. It takes a good 15 to 20 minutes just to investigate each signal...and you tear up your hands while doing so...even with gloves on. That's how bad and hard the ground is. Once you do get any type of plug dug...you hit a level mixed with gravel which seems like concrete. That's where this half was and I'm amazed it wasn't scratched up.

I had a few this weekend also that were in Gravel as hard as Concrete. It sure isn't an easy task trying to extract a Target from this kind of Ground but it sure feels good when you do pull something great that you worked your butt off chiseling thru the Hard Ground for. Especially if it is Silver and if it wasn't damaged during the retrieval. I had to Murder 3 Coins this weekend due to this type of Ground but at least they weren't Key Dates. Just Common Coins which still hurts. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.
