I dont know how to explain it but the first thing I found with my new 8" Compadre yesterday was a freaking round pod like white mushroom buried an inch under the soil. I've heard mushroom have been used to clean up radioactive/nuclear contaminations. I dont know if this mushroom had some tiny piece of metal embedded in it or it just happen to be on top of a tiny piece of metal that set my Compadre off. Either way it an interesting start. Everything else I found after that was typical metal scrap. Anyone else find something unexpected with their unit?
