my first g2 hunt!

hunted a vollyball court today for about two hours. the g2 was very impressive and i am learning its language. did not find any gold or silver but i am impressed with the size(or lack of size) of my finds. hunted north and south in disc with everything below 41 disced out. then hunted east and west in all metal threshold set at -5 and experimented with full positive ground balance. had to drop down and wave sand in front of coil.....i need a sifter and a different scoop!!!!!!

NIce job. I am still getting used to the G2 myself, but I'm getting better.

I think 12-15 times out and I will have alittle knowledge about what I am doing.

Good job, seeker! Good, small stuff -- these machines are REALLY sensitive! Obviously, though, this is not your first rodeo -- that's alot of small finds for the first time out...

not likely, cheap corroded metal mount.

What were your settings ?
