Ahh the Nitro door slammer, classic hot wheels.. yes its fun picking up the odd old toy car, reminds me of when I was a kid.

You might want to check the dates on those pennies. Looks like at least two are coppers from the 60's and 70's.

Thanks, Wasp, but, I don't think there were many (if any) prior to 1983. IIRC, the 1959 through 1982 were still 95% copper and, after that, they became about 98% zinc with a little copper plating. I'll be looking back through them after they all get throroughly cleaned.....there are some zinc ones that have corroded to the point of no return. I am yet to find a wheatie or silver....gotta find some new places to hunt!! :sad:
