My first silver with my new Explorer!

Well research paid off today. After reading an old book on the area over the winter, I came across an old photo of some people swimming as well as laying in the grass on the shore. I knew the spot within 100 feet or so, so I went to check it out today. I'm glad I did.
I was only out for half an hour before I had to go home, and still managed the 4 coins in the pic.
First an 1881 Large Cent at 6"...followed by the 1932, and 1934 pennies. Then I hit my first silver with my explorer! I was just speaking of finding silver yesterday too. Anyhow, this beauty little 1882 silver 5 cent piece came out of her resting place of 4" deep. It came up as no more than a high blip...but it was a blip in all directions...so I dug away.
I also found the strange miniature "holy grail" you see in the pic. Any ideas as to what it is!?
Hopefully I'll be getting back to the spot tomorrow, as there is about a good 3 acres worth of detecting there.
Thanks for looking
Wess
