My Joke of the Day

A man is driving around the big city where he lives, desperately trying to find a parking spot. He is running late for work, and has been reprimanded for being late before. He keeps driving, but no spots are available. The man, not being very religious, decided to pray to God. He says, "Lord, I know I have not spoken to you in a long while, but I could really use your help. I just can't be late for work again. If you just help me this one time, I promise I will go back to church, start praying more, and be a good Christian that will live his life for you." As soon as he finished praying a car pulled out of a parking space right in front of the man's place of work, providing a perfect place to park. The man looks up at God and says, " Never mind, I just found one."

Maike a p;romise to God and you better keep it, as He will make sure you keep it one way or the other! He is patient and long-suffering but a promise is a promise and wll be fulfilled sooner or later! I was a child who made a promise to God if He would let mom win in a ticket raffle, she did and I really didn't live as I should have for years and years, but believe me, He got my attention and I live for Him, now! It may be a joke, but there is truth in it and whoever makes a promise shall have trials galore until the promise is fulfilled! :sad: God Bless! Betty
