Got out for an hour or so this afternoon and rounded this bit up, about $3.40. Got a strange dime mounted on a star ( must be a Jewish dime )
, a Roscoe ring ( rang up as a pulltab ), and some keys. Played with the new PP a bit. At one playground I got a big signal and traced it with the PP and it turned out to be a crunched up pop can buried in the chips. Found two more like it then hit a fourth large signal, checked it with the PP and got three separate signals that turned out to be a three-quarter spill. I could have passed it up assuming it was another can. As you can see pennies were abundant.
Got a weak signal and dug down in the chips to the hard pack and still no coin but the tector said one was there, so I waved the PP over the hard pack, got a signal, and popped out a quarter so cruddy you couldn't tell what it was. Been laying there forever I like this PP more and more the more I use it. I even used it to locate a quarter next to the metal pole on the playground equipment. Got a double blip with the detector but couldn't isolate it so waved the PP over the spot and nailed it perfect.
