My new T2!

I have been using my new T2 for about a week now and I must say I couldnt be any happier! I absolutely love this machine! The depth is great and the target Id is usually right on the money. The only concern I have with this detector is it does seem to be a little fragile. I guess this is due to it being so light. Today I dug a Rosie at about a ft deep at a spot I have hunted many many many times. I am still learning how to run the detector. I think I like all metal mode the most but I constantly have to watch the screen to see if the targets are worth digging. I was wondering if Im losing alot of depth when I run in disc mode? I like setting the machine at sense 90 disc 50 and tone 3. Every solid hit is a coin with these settings but I feel like I wasnt getting the depth that I was getting in all metal mode. If anyone has any pointers or thoughts on the best way to use the T2 I would love to hear some suggestions! Thank you \

Justin

Try running it in Disc 4, Sens 90, 3 tone and dig all non iron signals. You will hear everything including iron, but you get the boost and you get tone id. That way you can swing and not have to look at the screen to see if a hit is iron.

2+ is great... but I use 3 tone because it gives me more audio resolution to identify all the fencing wire in my ground. Fencing wire here produces a distinctive pattern in the tones for me in 3 tone... I simply can't tell in 2+. If the ground is clear of wire... I use 2+ as well. Seems to improve target separation.
