MY NEW XT 50 FINALLY ARRIVED TODAY

Looks like a fine little unit. Gotta get rid of 6 inches of snow to try it out. Oh well, plenty of time to read the book and get familiar with it in the meantime.

Congratulations on the new unit, it's a good one. If you haven't already, you might want to go on the Minelab site and read all the tests, and reviews, for the X-Terra's. Also, do a search on this forum for posts by Digger. That will keep you in material until the snow melts, and you will get a good head start on the ins, and outs, of these units.

Good luck with your new X-Terra, and most of all have fun! :D

thanks for the input guys. MAN OH MAN, got a big surprise today while fooling around in the basement with this piece of modern science. I was having trouble seeing the face of the control panel when lo and behold the damn thing rotates right or left so you can see it. WAY TO GO MINELAB.

I'm happy for you,I'm learning to.I got to go out and found about 25 cents in Penny's and 1 dime,I usually don't dig Penny's on top but still learning the 70, good luck and don't give up,it is pretty easy machine to operate.

You might want to push the control box in all the way though, as it will lock into position when pushed in all the way.
