My nickel hog the F5 ...... finds gold again today

After 8 weeks of collecting $28.00 in clad nickels and one 1911 V nickel, my Fisher F5 nets a 14K gold ring today in a ball field. I started the day at a local beach, was not having much luck there after 90 mins and 30 cents later, so I hit the local ball fields.

Congrats. My experience says that if you can find nickels, you can find gold. Way to go.

Interesting When I had my F5 that was the hardest coin to find,it was a penny finder and quarter finder.Nice finds though

My f5 also will find nickles like a vacuum an dyou know if you are finding nickles you will find gold

Nickels for me always show up as 29-31. 9 times out of ten it's a nickel. What was the reading for the band of gold? What a great find.

VDI = 30 for this one.

I've had gold rings hit @ 22, 30, 34, 44, and 46.
