My Old XS...........

Took it out yesterday, and enjoyed detecting with it.. No 12 #..No jumping around ID's, just good steady detecting. Found a few deep wheat's 7".........
down.....was an enjoyable 2 Hours. Basics are good sometimes......... Semi Auto 24, Conduct, Fast Off, Deep on..Threshold turned down to the lowest setting and still be able to hear it.. Variability at 8....dropped the tone down a little.......switched between digital, and Smart... It was fun !!!

It may, and I say may, seperate in trash better..but I'm thinking a lot of that is the coils the guys are using.. I went out today and picked a 9" Indian cent out of iron patch... It nulled but I got that sweet high tone and a number 28 for an instant.. Did the Minelab wiggle and there it was........ next to the iron..

I hit another park today..though Silver still eludes me..I did get two more Wheat Cents 194?, and 1951 at 6+ Inches..Good solid hits, raised coil up just for feel of target and it still high toned about 4" above ground using the Minelab wiggle.......... read 27 on the meter but flashed 28 a couple times.. I think it was the ground..I hit a few Clad dimes that were hitting 30 solid hmmmmmmmm It was wet..very wet ..might account for higher readings. Sens 24 Semi Auto. Every thing else like yesterday's settings.. It just amazing to me how much quieter the Old Xs is than the Etrac in heavy trash pull-tab city....
