My Oldest U.S. Silver Coin To Date!!!!!!!

After doing some bottle digging at one of my favorite farm field sites I turned on my detector and made a few passes down some corn rows. It wasn't long before I got a shallow penny/dime signal and when I looked down I could see this beauty sitting on top of the ground. The chisel plow pulled her up last week and left it's mark on the coin but that's okay, I'm just thrilled that I beat my oldest U.S. Silver find by 3 years!!!!! YEHAWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much I still have a lot to learn about my mindlab explorer, My last detector was a Garret. This one is a Little more complicated to me. take care, Janie

great find! Neal, waiting for farmers around here to plow fields
, have got permisssion from a farmer friend to search his fields, wait for them to get the cotton out of field. Dragon fly

now that is a coin Neal!! Congrats on a real beauty there! I have not found a capped bust coin period...then again, I'm in Canada...but they do turn up here from time to time.
