Hi all!
Was talking to my landlord earlier this week and we got on the topic of MD'ing. He told me the house we live in is 100 years old. I was surprised as it doesn't look nearly that old. Anyway, there's a small backyard and he said I could hunt it anytime.
So I grabbed the gear before the snow gets here and hit the yard. First find was a '41 Merc. Proceeded to find an 1899 Barber quarter, 17 & 34 Mercs, an 1896 Indian, a Chester Arthur presidential medal and 10 wheats. Not bad!
Also in the picture are the Flying Eagle cent and 1845 LC I found two weeks ago- they didn't clean up too well unfortunately.
Looks like the snow and deep freeze is on its way to Mass, so this may be my hunt for a while- we'll see.
GO PATS!!
Jeff
