My piddling contribution. It was bargain day as I found $1.99. Hit the mother of all penny spills today..

Went to a park I've never been to before and picked up a bit. Hit a school playground on the way home and under the chinning bars I hit the mother of all penny spills. The 250 went nuts. I quit picking up pennies after number 25 as my back was talking to me. I left another 25 or so for the next poor sucker. Some kid must have had his life's savings in his pocket. There was just a mound of pennies buried under the chips.

Wonder how someone would lose so much in one spot..Also looks like recent drops..
A place for you to go back too when your doing not so well somewhere else..
A good find..:clapping:

Some kid raided the change drawer.

Nice hunt Bill, Hmmm where is this park?

An isolated incident. Some kid had a pocket full and hung upside down on the bar and dumped it I would imagine.

I was over in a camping area a year ago and picked 47 pennies out of one small area near one single tree. Looked like some boy scouts had had a penny toss at a tree and never picked them up. Every penny was less than an inch deep.
