as if all the problems she has isn't enough...
I went to get the van repaired - Casey was off to school and Sherry was sleeping in her recliner (her bed and only place of comfort) - I didn't want to wake her so left a note and went to the auto repair place. Repairs will be done this afternoon. When I got home Sherry was awake and her speech was labored and slurred.
It appears during the night she vomited and this morning she woke with 4 sores on her tongue making it hard for her to talk. I've called the doctors office and waiting for a call back.
Poor Sherry - I'd give anything to have her well and to just not be able to do anything for her tears me apart - but she has it worse than how I feel. She is asleep again now.
I feel bad too because the last 2 times I went anywhere she needed me and I wasn't around - other things drew me away. Weather is getting nicer and would like to get out detecting but that will have to wait until Sherry is better. Soon she will be back at work for the pest control company...so she will be tied down during the week.
Hoping the doctor's office calls back soon.
