My Safari's silver coin finds from Washington

Ray in WA

New member
Hi folks,

Not much time at all lately to get out and detect as we've been packing and preparing to move to California by this Friday. So I thought this would be a good time to post all my silver coin finds from the state of Washington since last April. When I first moved here I was told that silver is hard to come by here, and they were right! Only 26 coins total in my bag but at least I met two of my three detecting goals this year: a Barber quarter and a Canadian dime. Never got the chance to find the third item I had as my goal--a seated dime. Oh well. Two out of three ain't bad.

Enjoy the pic and next I post I'll be a Californian again!

HH,

Ray

hunting parks, trashy areas or what?

Nice pile of silver Ray. Look's like you'll have to head back north once in awhile for old times sake. Hope california is just as good.

Thanks guys.

lurksalot, stock coil, some parks, sidewalk easements, masonic lodge, schools, the usual suspects.

HH,

Ray

You did just great with your finds. I hope you have some great new hunting successes. Keep us informed. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Thanks Hardtack!

We're all settled in now in Redding, CA, but I haven't had any time really to detect. I did, however, pass by a nice foundation on the side of a hill that could be promising. Lots of history in this area, and I need to do some research first.

Will let you folks know when I'm actually able to get out and do a few hours detecting.

HH,

Ray
