hunting in am mode finds targets deeper than in disc mode,except for the necklace all was found at the beach in the wet sand,the earring was very deep with a very faint sound in am mode and nothing in disc mode,as were some of the pennies too, i had excalibur 2 set as disc 1 sens 7 and vol 3/4 threshold nice steady tone for the windy conditions that was there that day..i just wonder how much stuff i didnt find hunting in disc mode all last year,this stuff was found after walking behind several other hunters walking in front of me on beach..just makes you wonder..:detecting::clapping::minelab::thumbup:
ill try again in a day or so for more results..but so far its really interesting....:clapping:

tape or rtv works ok................lot of wind enters and whistles throuhg those holes
