These last short hunts were at the hunted out park.Notable finds 1911,1917,1927,1937D and 1941 wheat pennies. The 1911 and 1917 found in the same hole.Four silver dimes 1898,1936,1937 and 1941.A first for me the 1936,37 and 41 Mercury dimes were found in the same hole.I think the PI Pistol Probe may have helped with the multiple finds in the same hole.

Nice finds Ron and I'm noticing that most posters are hunting old hunted out parks like yourself and others here. Goes to show that the old Explorer is great at finding what others missed. How do you like the pin pointer and after you dig your plug is it good at actually narrowing down where the target is located in the hole???? I could have used some help the other day even though I have the X-1 Probe. Congratulations again on your finds.

Very nice finds Ron.:clapping: Don't you just love those so called hunted out parks. Hit that place some more as you know there has to be more good stuff there. HH.

jb,the Explorer does very well in hunted out areas. The Pistol Probe does have a lot of issues, but for very deep coins I think its great.I have a Whites Bullseye I use at the same time for surface and shallow targets. With both of these pin pointers holstered next to my knife is convenient and works very well.My first impression about carrying two pin pointers was like everyone else a(crazy) bad idea, but this is the very method for retrieving targets.

Thanks for the input Ron, actually I carry the Whites Bullseye 11 and use it on Vibrate along with the X-1. I was just curious as you don't hear to much about it.

And when there all SILVER, YIPEEEE! Congrats on them excellent finds Ron. There's more where those came from. Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:

James,I have been watching your post for a while. After seeing all the finds made with Explorer hunters I had to get one.I'm glad I got an Explorer, and yes with this detector I'm sure there is a lot more multiple finds I'll recover. Thanks

Those are nice finds Ron from Michigan.
