Royal asked about a web site where digital cameras could be found. My Simon.com is a very good site for this. You can get a very good detailed review of every digital camera out there plus cost comparisons between different vendors. It takes a few clicks to get to the digital section and the reviews but is well worth the effort. I'm re-posting this as my post was pretty far down the line here. I'm now leaning toward the Canon Power Shot G1 only because of the review by "dpreview.com" and the reasonable cost compared to the Nikon Coolpix 990. Hope this doesn't confuse everyone. HH,
Jerry

A couple of other places that review Ditigal.

Located two vendors with the Olympus E-10 for $1829. Now the trick is to find one with that price that doesn't have a store in your state (no sales tax) and offers free shipping. In my dreams.

I bookmarked those two sites. With improvements coming out almost daily I see the end of 35mm cameras in the near future. Man, those are some beautiful pictures on those two sites. Thanks again and HH,
Jerry

I have found that cnet is also a great place to compare prices and also get responses of people that have already bought one. It works a lot like mysimon. Happy Holidays!
