on another forum a member by the name of sparkymaster started a thread that stated he and some other members there wanted to do something really nice for a few members at Tnet The idea is to come up with enough money to buy four new detectors (2 ACE 250's and 2 F-2's) and give them away to 4 lucky people.

well I never even saw the thread, he pm'd me and asked me if he could nominate my son to be voted on. I said "YES!" the next day he contacts me back and says my son was chosen and is getting a free ACE250 !!! woHOOOOO here is the thread if your interested, people donated money like crazy it was simply amazing, some really good people in this hobby!!
(I had to edit the thread it wouldn't let me put it on here???)

anyways it showed up yesterday and here is my son, ready to go

Oh, isn't he a cutie!! Please tell him I said "Congratulations"

Very nice!!!! I wish him all the luck in the world on his finds!!!

WTG for your son......he is a nice looking young man and another redhead :detecting: ! May he find lots of coins and relics! His first silver and/or gold will give him the detecting fever! Then he will be hooked!

God Bless & congrats to you both! God is good to His Children!!
