My Trip to KY...

Active member
We went to KY to visit our folks for the weekend and my dad told me that the house he rents out is vacant and that I should detect there. I didn't know how old it was. He said about 100 years old but it looks like probably 150 or so from some of the coin dates I found there. Besides 23 wheaties(including a 1909) I dug 2 Large Cents-1845 and 18??, 3 mercs, 1944 quarter, 1871 Indian-AG, 2 war nickels and last but not least an 1840-O seated half dime! Had a blast digging that yard. May go back and try to find the privy for some bottle digging too!

Way to go - and thanks for posting. Isn't it neat that once someone knows what your interest is, they can often point you to a great spot?
