My wife grew up in small log cabin in Alaska on a homestead her father got in the early 60's

I ran across this old photo of her today with her brother and sisters, doesn't it look pleasant there in the blowing snow (click to enlarge) ~ when it's springtime in Alaska, it's 40 below. Later, in here teens she worked in a cannery for 5 years Homer Alaska gutting salmon. She all so fished commercially for halibut with her father. She working on her Masters now and is a teacher at a elementary school. She is tough as nails and good with a knife. :lol:.
