My Xterra70 finds so far

heres a picture of the finds i have found so far with my xterra, they are all off one spot which i have been working on and off for 3 weeks

17x2 cent pieces
13x1 cent pieces
1x10 cent
1x$1
1x$2

6 predecimals - 2 six pences, 1 three pence, 1 shilling, 1 penny and 1 half penny.

1 russian wedding ring (thats what they tell me it is lol) 1 badge of some sort and i think its the handle of a wooden umpires whistle

for a whole total of $3.57 and 6 pre decimals lol well its slowly payin for itself :)
 
Having dug a wide assortment of coins, you must be getting quite an "education" on various TID readings. Nice job!

And don't worry about the detector paying for itself. As someone who has detected for over 35 years, I've learned to not measure success by the number of coins we find. The real "rewards" in this hobby will be found in the the places you go to detect and the people you meet along the way. JMHO HH Randy

Well done you will get the hang of it and the 70 is a screamer of a beepa and i have used many since 1979 and will say its the best i have had for an all round
detector. The ring you found their is a russian wedding ring and i found one a while back ago with each ring been a different colour of gold and 18 ct. with
18 diamonds.
