I just started metal detecting two weeks ago with a new DFX. As good fortune would have it, we had a pretty good Nor-easter hit Myrtle Beach on Feb 28th. The storm removed most of the top sand for the entire length of the Grand Strand. MD-ing has been phenomenal. Lots of clad now uncovered where dunes used to exist.
In just two days on a single 100yd stretch near Garden City I uncovered over $10 in clad and three rings.
Think I might just like this hobby.
