Nasty 24 hour bug going around...Casey had it, Sherry got it and I now have it..

Don't want to get graphic about this stuff - first 12 hours is BAD and next 12 is like your head in a vice - throbbing headache.

It does have its advantages. Haven't eaten anything since last night. Got to get some rest...didn't want to move at all - any movement heads one towards the bathroom.

Oh for those who like Ginger Ale when they are sick...Casey learned this from cancer patient...that the ginger in ginger ale can upset the stomach and she recommented Sprite instead of Ginger Ale. We always used Ginger Ale but let it go flat...going to try the Sprite when Casey brings it home.

This bug messed up some plans we made for this weekend...but I think it was for the best...wasn't looking forward to driving do Detroit way. Them people are crazy drivers down there.

Pray you don't get this 24 hour bug.

of sharp stabbing pains in the stomach and ribs...figures she should be done with it around Monday. So I have a ways to go yet, :thumbdown:

Also they think little Leelan might be getting it...I can put up with a lot but to see a child suffer is bad.
 
Pete, we pray that you get well soon. Had something a few weeks ago, but my respiratory tract infection is still hanging on. Working around the kids at school, I am surprised I don't get more. Joan is staying pretty healthy so far.
 
Prayers for all of you, Pete, to get well soon! Sounds like the flu to me and I know what you mean when you can't move your head without getting really ill....I know that as I've had the flu in the past, but sure hope and pray I don't get it now....I know it would be really hard on me!

Dear Lord God,
Please move upon Pete and his family and let healing be done in their bodies to overcome this sickness, quickly, and please Lord work it all out for their good and for Your purpose for Pete to be able to work again or for him to draw disability so they have a regular income to meet their needs, in Jesus' name I pray! Amen! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for by believing faith it is already done in Your timing! Amen! :angel: God Bless! Betty
