National Police Week and National Police Memorial Day

Pete in MI

New member
should be coming up soon. I believe that it is now a set day (May 15) each year for the National Police Memorial Day, to honor those who have given their lives for others in the line of duty. The week (this year) I believe May 11th thru the 17th is National Police Week. Activities in many communities will be set to honor Police Officers and the communities in which they serve.

SALUTE to the Police Officers both living and those who have given their all. Thank you for your service to your fellow man, communities and your country. God bless them all.

Let us know for sure the week.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a Presidential Proclamation that set aside May 15 as National Peace Officers

Nice to remember those who serve and give their lives in the line of duty for others! May God bless them and their families!

thank you for the reminder, Pete

I admire and respect those who serve in the line of duty in what I consider to be a very stressful, dangerous job .
