I'm not sure this is the right Topic for this post.
This short video of Native American Mortars was the result of a query, "What is a mortar?" on another topic I posted on this forum.
To come across mortars and imagine the area when Native American women and girls ground acorns while the men were out hunting and the children played and all of them just as much a part of Nature as the oak trees that provided the acorns. To look around the area when mortars are discovered brings on profound thoughts and emotions. In some aspects of life man has made great strides forward in others he has slipped back dismally.
All the best, take care and HH
