I am reluctant to sell this nice Nautilus, but here goes. This machine has the extra-cost "White's type" main shaft which makes the machine feel lighter and swing easier, plus I have 3 coils complete with lower shafts and attachments- 6 1/2", 10" and 15". The smallest coil is great for coin hunting and trashy areas for both coin hunting and relic hunting. The 10" is a great all-around coil with amazing depth, and the 15" coil is the deepest seeker you'll ever need. In fact, it will find artillery projectiles deeper than I can recover them! I (Don't ask me how I know that.) I have air tested it to 4 feet on a 12 pounder, too.

The headphones and charger come with it, along with the original pamphlet. I am the second owner, having purchased it in 2008 from the original purchaser, a Mr. Schwann in Alabama. I believe it to be about 3 years old, but neither the original owner nor I have used this machine very much. It is truly a "low mileage" model that looks and works perfectly like new. Make offers please. Thank you. Reggie

Here's my email address for those who want it. Thanks.

While you guys are making up your mind, I'm taking the Nauti to Vicksburg for a hunt. I'm just hoping the rain will hold off long enough for us to hunt. It is storming around this section of the country. Reggie

We only hunted less than 2 hours, so my finds were meager. The dropped minnie ball had been damaged after it was lost. The Egyptian effigy is apparently from the Egyptian renaissance period (1850s to height in 1870s), silver plated sheet brass, with the little stud still being in one corner. There had been 4 of these studs when it was mounted to something as a decorative item. See the brass Eygyptian image in the lid in Stanley Philllips' book, page 125, item 5, Excavated Artifacts from Battlefields and Campaigns. This particular spot in Vicksburg was occupied by 70,000+ Yanks of the 16th corps. I suspect one of them had a personal box or something with this little image attached to it. HH

Still waiting for a REASONABLE offer for a like-new machine and extra coils/shafts which would cost more than $800 new. this machine works like it's supposed to!
