Neat Button

Pulled this button out of a cotton field today with the 4.5 x 7. It came in real handy because although the cotton had been harvested, the cotton bushes were still there and trying to navigate it with a full size coil is tough. Snagged a couple of wheaties too. Slow day, but always like a cool button and the weather was great. This was the same site with the 1900 Barber dime and the dog tags from last weekend.

Here's the button. The Barber dime shown for size comparison...I didn't find that today.

I like the patina and pattern. Buttons sure are fun to find, there are so many styles out there. Ron

I agree with Ron on so many nice varities of buttons to find, it is nice to see any design on a button, this year has been a flat plain button year for me, but I did snag a pre CW eagle button the other day so that was a nice change from the plain flatties from the late 1700's and early 1800's.....

Buttons are fun to find! :)
