Need advice for a hunt

Hello Everyone,

I'm still VERY new the Deus world. I've had mine for less than a week. I managed to get out a play with it a little last weekend but the weather was still very uncooperative.

Here's what's up. I've been invited to hunt on someone's property in Virginia. This guy has about 100 acres and was telling me that there is a civil war trench that runs through his land leading down to a river. He's an older gentlemen. He told me that he let someone metal detect on his land back in the late 70s but not since then. I was shocked to get the invitation. Please, can someone tell me what the best program or series of programs would be to run? The trench was probably several feet deep. It's all been covered over apparently.

I'm going to head over there the weekend of January 28th. I plan to be out there from sun up to sun down. I want to cover as much ground as possible. This is an amazing opportunity!

So please I'll ask again. Can someone recommend a program or does someone have a custom program for something like this?

I made a post called a video explaining my relic programs go down the list and you will see it. I dont know how the dirt is where you will be so that would be a concern but go check my video out and maybe that will give you a starting place. btw dont worry about someone hunting in the 70s technology has come a long WAYS!

Make sure you leave it as you found it, no sign you have been there you will want to go back! calabash digger has a relic program on here that would work well for you but you may want to run a factory preset program first. You need to dig some targets and learn the Deus and what is telling you and you should find plenty, take your time and have fun! HH

Don't try to cover the 100 acres in a day... or a weekend..
When you hit a concentration of targets slow down and cover it well.
Take your time. it sounds like the owner likes you and you will be able to return.

He's going to show me the area with the trench. Depending on length that will probably occupy at least one day. I will certainly be a MD-Ninja on his land. I hope I'm able to find something worthy of reporting!

your welcome I would use the sens 90 and tx 2 version not the hot version with sens 93 and tx 3.
