Need coil advice on F70 ??

I'm hunting a low mineralized dry sand beach area, with lots of rusty iron and new beer bottle caps. Recently a very experienced beach hunter told me, to use the stock concentric coil rather than the 11" DD. There is gold/silver jewelry and coins in these areas, in the soft sand sometimes it is quite deep. Will the stock concentric "hit" the good target better than with the DD? Will it see between the iron, better? How much depth would I lose by going to the stock coil?? What is your advice, stay with the 11" DD or put on the stock concentric? I was told that the stock coil is "crappy" so I have a;most never used it.......is this a mistake? Thanks for your help and advice!!

I have the stock 10" coil still unused...running the 11" exclusively. Since its sand, blast away at every target...I swing a light aluminum sandscoop like an axe, and use it like a hoe too. whatever gets the target up and ID'd as fast as possible. you could run a disc at 15 if you want, and go with some sort of tones like 3H, 4H or DP...any signal in the 20s from 21-27 could be a little gold ring...

hi guys i started using the stock coil a while back after i stuck my dd coil in a creek and my machine started going crazy. anyway the stock 10 inch has advantages over the 11 dd coil it gets better depth and reads bottle caps better but lacks in the seperation area. im still not getting very good depth though about 6 inches is max i will be sending my unit to fisher soon as the weather gets bad for a tune up and new coil .........hh
