Found this the other day, and not sure what this is.It's made of cooper and about 2"x 1 3/4" in size. The writing on it says: Great Camp Battle Creek Mich. Thought you lower Michigan guys might know. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
 
Battle Creek is only about 15 miles from me. looks to be maybe a comemorative piece from maybe a GAR encampment? it must have had a picture or something in the middle, and probably hung from a pin on a shirt? Very interesting! I will see if I can find out more.
