I'am having a problem trying to save a program on my se, I tried one in the new book
of programing the gold program, i do everything the way it says , and i lose it, what am i doing wrong?

One of the biggest things i see is some try to use the wrong menu to save it in. I did this myself a few times and I went to the select screen instead of the save screen. Once you have your screen set up like you want it I will push the detect button so you are able to use it as it should have loaded up, not push the menu button and you will see a save button so push that and all your patterns ( 6 different screen you can save) will show up and you decide where you want this one saved and just push the button and it should now be saved. Just be careful so you dont put it in one you are saving as it will over wright it and you will lose it. Now anytime you want to chance patterns go to menu and go to select and the first thing I would do is hit clear so no pattern is shown and scroll down to the one you want to load up and it the button so you have a check mark in the square and then hit detect button and it is ready to go with the pattern you loaded up.
