Sounds like a good deal, but are these cheap Chineese batteries that are only gonna last an hour in the machine?

HH,

Yeah! I bought a pack of those early last summer...it had a 2.50 rebate as well, so I hunted all summer on free batteries pretty much...didn't notice any problems. Sure love those AA's as opposed to the 9V...Mud

Do you have to order online or can you just walk in and get them..???
You know how long the sale goes for??
Thanks...For the tip..

Today is last day and you have to order online and you can just pick up in the store.

Excellent price, should be a good deal if they are even remotely close to the name brands in run time.

If you don't use your detector for a length of time in the winter, or if you have back up detectors that don't get used for an extended time, the detector manufacturers recommend removing the batteries in case of leakage.

I'd be extra cautious with off-brand batteries.
