need opinions on the original f75

That is a little high on the price...But price is subjective..If your pleased then it's an OK deal..

A fine working detector .....very sensitive ......See's targets in the ground other machines does not detect due to fast reset speed.

Better than average depth ..Light weight...comfortable to swing all day if you want to...Back light. Remembered settings when turned off and on

fast Grab ground balance.with manual available in all metal... OVERALL. An extremely nice detector...

My opinion is high on the old 75. Like Elton states "very sensitive"....some don't care for that and it takes getting used to. Doesn't eat up batteries, it's lite and well balanced. I have compared it 'in the field' on un-dug targets with other top brand units and it is neck and neck with them...in some cases better/deeper. I have two, an original and a one with boost. Pared up with the 5" coil, they are separation kings. The 11" dd coil is one of the best coils out there even though they had problems with water penetration. Two thumbs up from me.

I purchased my F75 for my son several years ago and it wasn't in the greatest of condition and it also had the extra 5 inch coil and a sunray probe, for $700 shipped. That machine has really been awesome for him and he has made a lot of great finds with it.

I liked it so much I bought myself one, but haven't got the sunray for mine yet. EMI will be a pain in the butt if you get in an area that has trouble with that. Other than that...I think the F75 is one of the best most sensitive machines on the market. I also have an etrac, but I find myself leaving it on the hanger and grabbing the F75 for 99% of my hunting.

If you're coming from the Tejon, you'll never look back. I took mine to the same areas where I hunted with the Tejon and I was amazed at what all I had missed.
Amazing:clapping:
