The company that fired me when I had the heart attack is appealing to the state in their awarding to me of unemployment. The company had been documenting anything and everything they could possibly use against me also. I was allowed to subpoena documents and persons. I asked for two subpoenas and was awarded one. The other one that was not awarded was for the personnel records of my recent supervisor. I'm sure he was never disciplined for his lack of competence in the areas associated with me. I asked for all documents from the time I originally started, 1990. I worked there for a total of 15 years, with a layoff in between. 14 of the 15 years, I had 5 supervisors. Nothing in the records but where I started. Two of those supervisors are a reference on my resume. Enter a new Director of Operations and shortly thereafter my supervisor Engineering Manager couldn't put up with her and put in his two weeks notice. She hand picked a successor to him and my supervisor thought that on paper he looked good. New Engineering Manager was hired. Then Paul's world started to fall apart. They started things by saying that I had changed 40 drawings in their tolerances and they were inaccurate. I tried to explain that I was going according to a plan set in place by the former supervisor. The new supervisor had signed off on the drawings and I thought I was taking the bullet for both of us. The lady Director of Operations said that "Paul we just can't have that". Did she mean following orders. I found one place in the documentation that it said Paul argued with (Mr. new engineering manager) over soup. Yes fellow forum members, you probably never saw this kind of low-down, despicable, evil-minded and reprehensible behavior in anyone short of Adolph Hitler. Please forgive me for keeping it hidden from you. Have you noticed the sarcasm in my voice. May I ask, what supervisor in their right mind would put in writing that THEY engaged in an argument over soup. Only one that I know of, right mind being the exception. This ought to get interesting. The company has probably consulted with a lawyer on this. The owner of the company asked me twice in 2007 how old I was.
Thanks for your prayers,
